Sustainable Fashion Pledge
VEE COLLECTIVE acknowledges the immense environmental impact of the fashion industry, which is why sustainability is at the core of our business. We seek to balance sustainable fashion and responsibility. Our bags are made of 100% recycled and vegan materials.
With a design rooted in versatility, we believe that one bag can do it all. We place great emphasis on minimalism, functionality, and quality.
While VEE COLLECTIVE is far from perfect, we strive for constant improvement to become the best version of ourselves and to remain a truly sustainable fashion company. Here are ten ways VEE is making a change through sustainable innovation:
1. 100% RECYCLED AND VEGAN MATERIALS
Our bags are made of 100% recycled and vegan materials – nylon, lining, filling, thread, webbing, mesh, zippers, vegan leather, everything!
2. CERTIFIED FABRICS
Our fabrics are Oekotex, Bluesign and GRS (Global Recycling Standard) certified, minimizing impact and use of toxic/hazardous materials in the production process.
3. 100% RECYCLED PACKAGING
Our packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable. We use FSC-certified, durable paper care bags and shipping boxes.
4. B CORP CERTIFICATION
In order to prove our commitment and commit to further improve, we are proud to be B Corp certified.
5. CARBON OPTIMIZED SHIPPING
96% of our shipping is done by sea in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
6. CO2 NEUTRALITY
We aim to be carbon neutral by 2025.
7. PRODUCT INNOVATION
We plan to increase the percentage of natural materials in our products to 50% by 2028.
8. MINIMAL WASTE
We follow a minimum waste production model, which reduces our waste output by circling it back into our 100% recycled products and packaging.
9. CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
We have donated more than €100,000 to charities focusing on women, children, and sustainability.
10. SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING
We will introduce an annual public sustainability report this year, enhancing transparency and accountability on sustainability KPIs and future goals.
