VEE COLLECTIVE GmbH commits itself to treat the provided information by the user with the utmost diligence and utmost sense of responsibility at all times. This applies particularly to the collaboration with partners and third parties. VEE COLLECTIVE GmbH does not take liability for third parties unless mentioned and clarified beforehand.

DATA PRIVACY

We use your stock data only for the development of the order. All data will be saved, analysed and used in accordance with the regulations of the German Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act. We will not pass on personal data including address and e-mail address without your explicit and at all times revocable permission to third parties. Exempted from this are our service partners who need the data to develop the order (e.g. the commissioned delivery company and the commissioned credit institution handing payment). In this case the amount of transferred data is limited to the requested minimum. VEE COLLECTIVE GmbH may from time to time update customers and users for marketing and promotional purposes, including via email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications. You can object this application at any time without any further emerging costs other than the transmission costs according to the base tariffs. VEE COLLECTIVE GmbH endeavours to use all technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against random or deliberate manipulation, loss, damage or against the access of unauthorised individuals. Payment data will be transferred encoded (128-Bit SSL).

WhatsApp Marketing

If you have given us your consent, we send you promotional messages via WhatsApp, for example information about new products, offers and campaigns. You will only receive such messages if you have actively opted in, for instance by submitting your phone number through a sign-up form on our website. We document the time, source and wording of your consent. For this purpose we process your phone number, your first name where provided, your consent record, and information about how you interact with our messages, such as whether a message was delivered, opened or clicked. If you have a customer account with us, we may take your order history into account in order to send you more relevant offers. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with §7(2) UWG.

We send these messages using the marketing platform of Klaviyo, Inc., 125 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02110, USA, which acts as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be processed on servers in the USA. Klaviyo is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision, and EU Standard Contractual Clauses additionally form part of our agreement. The WhatsApp service itself is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, part of the Meta group. WhatsApp and Meta process data under their own terms and for their own purposes, over which we have no influence, and data may be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. You can stop receiving our promotional WhatsApp messages at any time and free of charge by replying STOP to any message we send you, or by contacting us at clientcare@vee-collective.com. We will then remove you from our WhatsApp marketing list without delay. Withdrawing your consent has no effect on the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal, and you will not suffer any disadvantage as a result. We store your phone number and consent record for as long as your consent remains active. After you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your number on a suppression list so that you are not contacted again, and we retain the consent documentation for up to three years in order to meet statutory proof obligations.

If you have accepted marketing cookies, we record the items you place in your shopping cart and whether you complete your purchase, in order to send you cart reminders via WhatsApp if you have consented to receive them. This is done through our marketing platform Klaviyo. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings or by replying STOP.

DATA TRANSMISSION

For the handling of orders necessary data will be saved and if necessary transmitted to associated companies and service partners in the needed amount. All personal data will of course be treated strictly confidential. Within legal allowance and in due consideration of your respective protection worthy interests, an exchange of addresses and credit rating data where required will take place with a third business.

COOKIES

Web Cookies are small pieces of data send by websites, which are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. We use this technology to optimize the offers presented in the Online Store or on the Website, for example, by saving your personal preferences. The use of cookies for instance enables us to save your virtual shopping cart, determine which country you are in and recognize you when you visit the Online Store or Website again. In addition some cookies will be sent by third parties, which for example enable us to have VEE COLLECTIVE products that reflect your interests offered to you on our partners’ websites (what is commonly known as retargeting).

You can also opt out of SMS/WhatsApp marketing by replying “STOP” to any message you receive.

In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.
